在這一年，深圳展覽館和香港博雅藝術(shù)公司聯(lián)合開辦的深圳博雅畫廊正式成立，這是深圳首家深港合資文化企業(yè)，也成為了當(dāng)時特區(qū)文化一道亮麗的風(fēng)景。成立之初，劉海粟、啟功、關(guān)山月、吳冠中等知名藝術(shù)家即先后為博雅畫廊題詞、作畫或舉辦展覽。
